Fatigue & Insomnia Testing

Fatigue & Insomnia Testing

Feeling perpetually tired? Maybe you cant sleep at night? Are both factors feeding into each other?

ā€‹

Fatigue/insomnia testing can help to find the root cause of:

  • Low energy

  • Insomnia - Sleep onset (getting to sleep

  • Insomnia - Sleep maintenance (staying asleep)

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Spikes and crashes in energy throughout the day

  • Anxiety driven fatigue

ā€‹

ā€‹

Note- There may be other underlying factors that
contribute to insomnia and fatigue such as
hormonal imbalance, chronic infection, mould exposure,
gut disorders and nutrient deficiencies, so please check
out those testing sections also, and of course make sure
you work with Jess or another experienced practitioner
to find out your root cause.

What are my testing options directly relating to burn out and insomnia?

Sleep Profile Extensive- Saliva

ā€‹

The Sleep Profile is a non-invasive saliva test that assesses two major causes for insomnia: imbalances in melatonin and cortisol. Melatonin is a peptide hormone produced by the pineal gland which helps to control normal sleep patterns. Deficiencies of this hormone can lead to insomnia. Imbalances in the diurnal pattern of the glucocorticoid hormone cortisol can also lead to sleep disturbances.

Adrenocortex Stress Profile Extensive- Saliva

ā€‹

The Adrenocortex hormone profile is a non-invasive saliva test that serves as a reliable marker of stress response and a critical tool for revealing adrenal imbalances. Lifestyle, physical and psychological stresses put constant demands on the adrenal glands. If they become depleted adrenal fatigue or insufficiency may be experienced.
