Crispy Skin Salmon

Salmon is one of the best sources of the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA which decrease inflammation, lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of cancer and improve the function of the cells that line your arteries.

NOTES:

  • This goes amazingly well with the Zesty Jalapeno Guacamole

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 piece salmon (the tail pieces are better for cooking this way)

  • Coconut oil

  • Sea Salt

METHOD

  1. Place a tbsp coconut oil in a non-stick pan and heat on a med-high heat

  2. Blot salmon skin with paper towel and rub sea salt in to skin to assist with drying

  3. Once oil is hot, place salmon skin side down in oil and cook for 4 mins

  4. Flip salmon and cook on other side for 2-3 mins

  5. Serve skin side up with lemon wedge
