Available Position 

POSITION TITLE: Administration Assistant/ Receptionist


HOURS: 20- 28 hrs per week 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and caring clinic administration assistant/ receptionist to join our vibrant growing Naturopathic Clinic in the Melbourne Northern suburbs.


This role is vitally important in the day to day running of the business. It includes reception and administrative duties as well as assisting the naturopath with any extra tasks that may need attending to. 


The role will report directly to the Clinic Naturopath/ Owner.


These duties will include answering the phone, taking payments, scheduling client appointments, data entry, stock management and ordering (for herb and supplement dispensary), dispensing prescribed herbal medicines and supplements, management of other tasks assigned and prioritising their execution.


The successful applicant will be a dedicated and conscientious individual who thrives in a busy and dynamic environment, be able to multitask and take the initiative in the management of their tasks, work independently and bring a positive and happy aura to the clinic to ensure the best possible experience for clients. 


Position Requirements



  • Current Australian drivers license

  • Working With Children's Check

Desirable (but not necessary):

  • Reception and/or Administrative experience (preferably in medical or allied health)

  • Exposure to clinic software and patient management systems

  • A love and passion for health and natural medicine



  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, consistency.

  • Good administration and excellent customer service skills, with a proven ability to time    manage

  • Ability to communicate effectively within a busy working environment.

  • Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, and to manage client needs and expectations.

  • The initiative to identify problems and come up with solutions before presenting to management  

  • Excellent organisational abilities, with the ability to follow and improve on established processes and policies.

  • Most importantly you need to have the ability to work autonomously and triage important tasks.
